Ninja Turtles Movie Poster Leaked

Source: Ninja Pizza Thanks to @brutal2d for the info!

2014 Movie TMNT & Shredder Leaked

Leaked images give us a good look at the new TMNT and Shredder!

Photos now removed by request of Paramount

It was only a matter of time. These photos confirm the look of the turtles and concept art for Shredder and well, they're not half bad. Much like the previous post on the kids costume it does indeed look like the Turtles will be sporting a lot of accessories and they are big and bulky.

Shredder is chromed out! Guy has more blades on him than a Ginsu warehouse. I have to say I do like the new Shredder he certainly is intimidating and looks like he can hold his own. Should be interesting.

Overall the new designs remind me a LOT of the Jim Lee TMNT and Next Mutation from their sheer size and the accessories each is wearing.

New TMNT Movie Turtle Look Revealed (sort of)

*Gulp* Well this is it...

A recent spoiler for the new Ninja Turtles movie has slipped out via a costume company that will be selling the movie costumes. Here it is folks the new look of the turtles! Now granted this is a costume for kids and not everything can be 100% but...look at it. I don't see good things.

Lets take a look at what this sneak peek shows us:

We're back!
  • They have masks!
  • Lots of tape on the limbs (which is ok)
  • Sneakers?
  • Loin cloth or wrapped sweatshirt (hey 1993)
  • Sunglasses (they live in a sewer right?)
  • Pendant necklace
  • Are those tattoos on the arm?
  • Biker pants? Spandex? Wha?

I fear some longtime fans worst nightmares are hiding in that single image. These turtles are looking more and more like Bayed-out versions of The Next Mutation TMNT more than anything else. I mean come on, they are wearing pants of some sort??

What do you think? Should we be afraid?

New TMNT Movie News (Updated 5/31)

Vernon? Check. Logo? Check. April with yellow coat? Check.

TMNT movie news from around the net

Big week for TMNT movie news. First and most obvious from up above the new logo has presented its gritty self. Not a whole lot to say about it, it was honestly what I was expecting and has a certain quality to it. Does remind me of a combo of the new toon logo and the Transformers movie logo (imagine that). Thanks to my pal Tommy over at Top Hat Sasquatch for the heads up!

Favorite Holiday Movies and Specials

T'Was the night before Christmas... well you all know how it goes. On this Christmas eve I wanted to share a few of my favorite holiday flicks and specials, we all have our own list!

The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (original 1966)

Have watched it since I was a wee crooked ninja and nothing has changes. Great story and animation, got to love those specials from the 60's!

League Assignment: Jumping the Shark! (Hollywood)

This weeks League of Extraordinary Bloggers assignment asks "At what point did a pop culture series jump the shark and lose your interest?".

In this bloggers mind one thing really comes to mind when you say "jump the shark" and that thing is...

Top 13 Halloween Movies and Specials

Tis the season... for spooky stuff! As part of the countdown to Halloween 2012 the crooked gang introduces its top 13 Halloween movies & specials, all of which are in no particular order (because they are all so good).

It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown

The list has to start with a special that I know a lot of people young and old hold near and dear to their heart during Halloween. Hard to beat this classic.

Halloween

A classic slasher that survives (pun intended) to this day. A Crooked Ninja Turtle Gang staple of the season.
