TMNT Lego Series 2 *UPDATED WITH BOX ART

We now know of some of the second series of Ninja Turtles Lego sets slated for next year. They include:

Karai Escape Bike (79118) – $14.99

The Chamber of Mutation (79119) – $26.99

T-Rocket: Attack from the air (79120) – $34.99

Turtle-Submarine (79121) – $45.99

Along with these Nickelodeon cartoon sets there will also be 3 other sets that will coincide with the release of the new TMNT movie which have not been revealed.

Good news for fans with the addition of Karai in this series. Interested to see what the Turtle Sub and Chamber of Mutation have in store. No images released yet but there are sure to be some in the coming months.

New TMNT Cartoon News

USA Today announces upcoming TMNT awesomeness!

Yes, yes and yes. An article on USA Today gave us a glimpse of what we can expect in the upcoming Nickelodeon TMNT show and it is so very good. The rundown:

1. Baxter Stockman gets some needed facetime. Traps, torture, madness all of which are expected for Mr Stockman coming up. Should be interesting.
2. The story gets bigger. According to the article the TMNT storyline will only be escalating in excitement and to expect big things towards the end of season one.
3. Mutagen Man, he is coming BACK!
4. The classic toon TMNT are going to make an appearance in some respect, details still slim but hey the old characters are coming into the fold!
5. Maintaining quality. Ciro Neil the Executive Producer on the series started out as a fan and knows the value we as fans have for the property. He shows enthusiasm for what is to come and for me that is great news.

I have to say the new series has surpassed my expectations so far, it is darn near perfect. With these tidbits released on what is to come my excitement is only growing.

Found this via fellow tweeter @TheReigner. Seems that a Wal-Mart computer is showing some upcoming releases in its database complete with prices! Now if this is legit and accurate it is great news for TMNT fans, but one should always take this type of news with a grain of salt. Have a look at the photos for yourself:

New 2013 TMNT Toys Revealed!

 A whole LOT of toy news for Ninja Turtle fans like myself came out today via Toys News International ! Baxter Stockman! Sewer Alley playset! New Turtle Comm! New vehicles! Yeah I am excited ok.

Anyway take a look at all the fresh photos and get ready for early 2013. Also some news about a certain TMNT classics line and a second series reveal at Toy Fair in Feb!

Castle Grayskull from Matty Collector, One Time Deal.

Above this text is the initial rough rendering of the proposed MOTUC Castle Grayskull up for pre-order. It is big, it is expensive, and it is going to be awesome. Now many of you have previously read my post on falling out of love with MOTUC where I gave you my 2 cents on the line and I stand by that. This is not a figure though this is a PLAYSET! A big ass playset in scale with the MOTUC toys, so yeah it is going to (maybe) be one hell of a fun piece.

Lego TMNT Announced

It's all true! The TMNT license has expanded to the Lego brand. Breathe in the possibilities coming our way with Lego making TMNT sets. One of the first pics up above has a great Shellraiser Street Chase Set and a bunch of Lego minifigs to get any fan pumped. $60 gets you the set.

How excited are TMNT fans for this? Me, ecstatic.

NIckelodeon Metalhead SPOTTED in Wild

Nick Metalhead spotted on eBay!

Thats right, Metalhead! Very excited for this figure. Person selling on eBay says he found it in a local WalMart. Also @pixeldan has tweeted that people are spotting TMNT wave 2 at Toys R Us. I suppose Mattel was not far off when they said the second series would hit in the Fall.

Mezco 14" Thundercats Classics

These new Thundercats toys seemed to have evaded me somehow! These 14" Mezco figures for Thundercats Classics are damn cool. Yeah they have limited poseability but acting as statue-type with such great sculpts it is hard to complain. You can snag both Panthro and Mumm-Ra off the Mezco site now for $42 each but they also have the special edition Mumm-Ra from SDCC for $50 that comes with  a bonus old mummified Mumm-Ra.

Now if we could only get them to keep going on the 6" articulated Classics line we would be in business. THUNDER...THUNDERCATS....

Funko Masters of the Universe Wacky Wobblers

Funko has announced a new set of Wacky Wobblers based on our favorite Eternian hero's and villain's. Set for a December 20th release the new series will include He-Man, Orko, Skeletor, and Beastman and part of the 30th anniversary of Masters of the Universe.
