Unreleased Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Toys

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Toys That Never Made it to Shelves

The original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle toy line was marvelous by all accounts. The numerous figures, vehicles, accessories and miscellaneous merchandise were 2nd to none at the time. The toys were vast, not only did we get a Raphael but we got a cyber Raph, Military Raph, Magician Raph, and even a Troll Raph. What about the stuff left on the cutting room floor? There were numerous toys we never got to see on shelves so with that I present to you a selection of some of the unreleased TMNT!

2014 Movie TMNT & Shredder Leaked

Leaked images give us a good look at the new TMNT and Shredder!

Photos now removed by request of Paramount

It was only a matter of time. These photos confirm the look of the turtles and concept art for Shredder and well, they're not half bad. Much like the previous post on the kids costume it does indeed look like the Turtles will be sporting a lot of accessories and they are big and bulky.

Shredder is chromed out! Guy has more blades on him than a Ginsu warehouse. I have to say I do like the new Shredder he certainly is intimidating and looks like he can hold his own. Should be interesting.

Overall the new designs remind me a LOT of the Jim Lee TMNT and Next Mutation from their sheer size and the accessories each is wearing.

New TMNT Zip Line Playsets

Zip line playsets coming soon (or now)!

I don't know how this got outside my toy radar but these TMNT zip line sets look incredible! Spotted on toyshopuk's website and have been rumored to be currently for sale at Target these sets mount on your wall and as the title indicated can be used as a zip line. Love it.

With all the sets being released for the TMNT we are well on our way to building your very own TMNT version of New York for your toys. These bad boys are going for around $20-$32 a piece but look well worth it. Check your local Target ASAP or click here for the Amazon listing!

This little 2-page spread showed up recently in the Lego Club magazine. I see some 2014 releases teased in the drawings!

Sears Wishbook 1992: Turtle Power Edition

1992 Sears wish book, chock full of turtle goodness.

Born before 2009? Then you probably know all about wish books whether it was from JC Penney, Sears, or Toys R Us. They were spectacular. These were the go-to for your master Christmas gift list, red marker for circling and all.

1992 was a hell of a year especially if you were a TMNT fan. How do I know? Read on:

The first Item on the list, jammies! Whether you are in the market for a totally rad onesie (with feet) or a two-piece set you are all set. Love the illustrations on these.

Funko Boxos TMNT Papercraft Set

TMNT New Vehicles Revealed

Thanks to K-Mart we get a peek at the new TMNT Turtle Sub and Grass-Kicker lawn mower

These cool new rides for the Turtles will be coming our way soon. K-Mart let the images slip on its product page but they are not yet available for order. The sub comes in at $19.99 while the mower is $12.99, not bad price wise.

Looking through the photos the Turtle Sub while cool in concept lacks a lot. The size should be much larger and the detailing seems minimal. It reminds me of the tiny vessels taken down to the bottom of the ocean to explore the Titanic, is Donnie going on an expedition?

The mower is classic TMNT. Take an easily found object and turtle-ize it with some wacky accessories and details. You even get two lawn dart missiles strapped to the top for good measure.

Regardless im sure I will buy both of these, though im not thrilled with the packed in Don figure that comes with the sub.

TMNT Movie: 5 reasons for hate 5 reasons for hope

With the new Ninja Turtles movie coming next year and all the buzz around it, positive and negative, I think an exploration of some of the good and bad that could come from it.

NEW TMNT Happy Meal Toys

December McDonalds Happy Meal Toys are TMNT!

That's right in December of this year we get some more TMNT toys in those happy meal boxes. These ones look to be skateboard related which could be cool. Slightly better than the odd "racers" we got last time but hey, it is something. Now my questions is where is the tiny plush toys we have seen floating around eBay in the last few months??
