Now that we are officially in December and in the full holiday swing lets start it off right with some vintage department store holiday ads.

Let the Atari experience wash over you. I actually really like how they did the panning shots over the TV's in this one.
You need to watch this one simply for the panning shots of the toy isles chock full of 1986 goodness!
Vintage Geoffrey Giraffe and co. Fully animated which makes me smile, you will never see something like that today.
This kid was sucked into a snow globe of disappointment.
That was a sweet Atari pan shot! Sears used to have some sweet commercials.

ReplyDeleteI really liked the Atari shot and the fact it was darkened with just the illuminating TV's. Rather well done for a commercial!
